The Church of Santo Spirito, located in Via Bramante, dates back to 1554, while the Confraternity of the Holy Spirit was established in the fourteenth century and suppressed in 1729.

You enter the church through a beautiful Renaissance portal. On the main altar we can admire a precious canvas, portraying the Pentecost by Federico Zuccari, according to some, by Taddeo Zuccari, according to others. The barrel vault contains a series of monochrome paintings by Girolamo Cialdieri, divided into 15 panels representing the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, the Coronation of the Virgin, Baptism of Jesus’, the Liberation of St. Peter. On the walls, within the original wooden frames with marble effect the Apostles, always by the school of Cialdieri. The Presentation of the Virgin in the Temple (right) and St. Charles Borromeo (left) are by Claudio Ridolfi.
